Fatimah Alhassan is a 2020 graduate of the University of Virginia (UVA) with a diverse educational background in Kinesiology, healthcare, and management consulting.
Currently working as a Medical Assistant and aiming to pursue medical school in the future, Fatimah has a keen interest in healthcare, policy, and management.
She has prior experience as a management consulting intern, focusing on economic development, business, product design, and rebranding, bringing her problem-solving skills to address complex issues in the healthcare and policy sectors.
Fatimah's academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in Sport Science from the University of Exeter.
She has been involved with various organizations such as Reiter, Hill & Johnson as a Medical Assistant, participated in the Management Consulting Program at UVA, served as a Propel Intern at UVA, interned at Thomas Jefferson University through the Summer Training & Enrichment Program for Underrepresented Persons (STEP-UP), contributed as a Healthcare Academy Intern at the UVA Alumni Association, and worked as a Medical Shadower at UVA Health System.
