Fatima Asad-Bakhtiari

Fatima Asad-Bakhtiari is a financial professional with extensive experience in institutional sales and asset management in the Middle East region. She was recently appointed as Managing Director and Head of Distribution Middle East at Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management.12 In this newly created role, she is responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with institutional clients in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.12

Prior to joining Edmond de Rothschild, Fatima worked for seven years as Sales Director Middle East for Wells Fargo Asset Management, where she focused on raising assets under management across equity, fixed income, and hedge funds.12 Her experience also includes a five-year stint at Franklin Templeton as a Middle East institutional sales manager, covering sovereign wealth funds and family offices.1

Fatima is based in Dubai and reports to Marie Jacot, the global head of distribution at Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management.12 Her appointment is part of the company's strategy to establish and strengthen its brand presence in the Middle East market, which is considered increasingly strategic for the asset management firm.2
