    His professional journey includes roles such as Executive Director at the University of Rhode Island, Interim Executive Director at the Institute for Entrepreneurship, Managing Director at Industry 4.0 Accelerator, and Chief Executive Officer at Akibah Health, among others.

    Additionally, Fathi Abdelsalam has served as an Adjunct Professor at Wayne State University, Entrepreneur in Residence at TechTown, Management Consultant at Swisscontact, and Founder/COO at Akibah Health. He also has experience in patent examination and industrial engineering at the U.S. Department of Commerce.

    His educational background includes studying at Cornell University for an MPA and MBA, and earning dual BS degrees in Industrial Engineering and Economics from Florida State University with minors in Math and Business. He has also taken on roles as an Advisor and Entrepreneur in Residence at Starta VC and Techstars.
