Farshid Tafazzoli

Farshid Tafazzoli is a seasoned business executive with over 20 years of experience in various industries. He currently holds the position of Chief Business Officer at Material Bank®, a leading material and sample sourcing platform catering to architecture and design professionals. In his role, Tafazzoli oversees Material Bank's business development, strategic partnerships, and revenue growth strategies.

Prior to joining Material Bank®, Tafazzoli served as the President and CEO of Global Custom Commerce Inc, a leading e-commerce platform. He has also held executive positions at several other companies, including Barnes & Noble, where he was a Vice President of merchandising, and MTV Networks, where he led the digital distribution strategy for music and entertainment programming. Tafazzoli's breadth of experience has contributed to his deep understanding of e-commerce, digital marketing, and strategy development.

Throughout his career, Tafazzoli has been recognized for his leadership and business acumen. He has been named to the Power 100 list by Home Accents Today, and his work at Global Custom Commerce Inc earned him the 2017 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® Award in the Southeast region.

Tafazzoli holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and staying active with sports and fitness.
