Farooq Habib
Dr. Farooq Habib is a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Director of the MSc in Procurement and Supply Chain Management at Cranfield University. He holds a PhD in Supply Chain Management, an MSc in Research, and an MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, all from Cranfield University, as well as an MBA and a degree in Mechanical Engineering with honors from other institutions.
In his academic role, Dr. Habib teaches modules on Strategic Procurement, Negotiation and Contract Management, and Digital Procurement. His research interests focus on global supply chain disruptions, complex negotiation, and the influence of government policies on supplier development. He has also worked on various projects with notable companies such as Siemens, Marks and Spencer, and Nestle, and has published numerous academic papers in the field of logistics and supply chain management.1
