Faridha Salama

Faridha Salama is a first-generation American with a diverse background, having an Egyptian father and Colombian mother. Growing up internationally fostered her global perspective and interest in international affairs and global security.

Faridha holds a Masters in Political Science with a focus on Transatlantic Security & Defense, specializing in post-9/11 security issues and comparative counterterrorism approaches.

She began her career as a consultant with DHS/TSA in 2005 and transitioned to a federal employee in 2007, amassing over a decade of technical experience in project management, team leadership, security analysis, and policy development.

Her roles have encompassed various positions such as transportation security specialist, international desk officer, capacity development specialist, crisis management facilitator, program analyst, and program manager, handling areas like industry partnerships, aviation security, critical infrastructure protection, strategic communications, and policy execution.

Faridha excels in crafting communication and leadership strategies, producing briefing materials, conducting risk research, and driving consensus to deliver innovative solutions and tangible results in technical security project management.

She is continuously seeking opportunities to advance her career in technical and leadership capacities.

Faridha pursued a diverse education, including certifications from multiple training centers, a Master of Arts in Political Science with a focus on Transatlantic Politics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a concentration in Political Science and Government from the University of North Florida.
