Farhang Bidram is a robotics entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in developing and managing robotics solutions. He is the Co-Founder and CTO at Advanced Intelligent Systems Inc. Farhang has a passion for creating modular robots and artificial intelligence platforms for a variety of industries. He founded AIS in 2013 with Robert Vahedi and developed new robotic solutions to improve efficiency and safety in industrial and agricultural applications. Farhang's focus is on continuing to develop proprietary hardware and software modules that can be used to create affordable, practical robots while improving their operation using AI.

Farhang's flagship autonomous robot, BigTop, is used in the horticultural industry to automate the movement and spacing of plant pots in greenhouses and nurseries to eliminate repetitive and strenuous tasks for the workers. Prior to AIS, Farhang was the Founder and CEO of an industrial automation company specializing in designing and manufacturing robotic industrial automation solutions. He implemented over 70 industrial robots to automate several manufacturing facilities with different applications such as machine tending, welding, cutting, and painting.
