Faraz Fatemi

Faraz Fatemi is a Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners, where he focuses on investments in consumer platforms. He joined Lightspeed in 2022 after working in various roles that contributed to his expertise in venture capital and operations. Before joining Lightspeed, Faraz was involved in business operations at Clubhouse and led corporate development at Wave.tv. He also worked as an associate at Bain Capital Ventures, where he co-invested in several companies that became part of the Lightspeed portfolio, including Cameo and Rubrik.123

Faraz is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley's Haas School of Business. His career has been influenced by his family's immigrant background from Iran, which motivates him to help future generations succeed. He is passionate about community building and is actively involved in various communities, including serving as the LA Chapter Lead with On Deck and mentoring at UC Berkeley’s SkyDeck accelerator.2
