Dieter Wemel is a highly skilled operations leader with a talent for streamlining business processes to improve operational performance. Dieter is an expert in implementing lean and agile methods, and has experience helping companies across a range of industries reduce inefficiencies and increase bottom-line results. Prior to his current role as Chief Of Staff at team.blue, Dieter worked as an Engagement Manager and Senior Implementation Coach at McKinsey & Company, where he led several long-term transformation programs for manufacturers in Europe and the Middle East. Examples of his recent work include reducing overhead spend for a large Finnish logistics player, improving customer satisfaction for a European telco operator, and helping a large aero-engineering company with a cost-out and design-to-value of a mobile turbine unit. Dieter has a Master of Science in Engineering from Universiteit Gent and is a Certified ScrumMaster and Black Belt Six Sigma.
