Fabrizio de Simone

Fabrizio de Simone is an experienced corporate finance professional with an international profile and an impressive track record of successful transactions. With over a decade of experience in the investment banking industry, coupled with his significant management skills, Fabrizio has contributed to the successful startup and management of four teams in three different organizations. He has a clear strategic vision, and his ability to motivate teams effectively and build them seamlessly is amiable. He is an entrepreneurial thinker, and his unwavering adherence to ethics is evident in all his dealings.

Fabrizio is a fluent communicator, with experiences working in London, Sydney, New York, and Milan, and can speak four languages fluently. He has worked on over 80 deals, worth over €23bn, with a significant focus on equity, turnaround, leveraged finance, M&A, fundraising, and corporate restructuring. His expertise in the life sciences sector has seen him lead the Italian Life Sciences corporate finance practice at EY since July 2015.

Fabrizio studied Business Law (Economia e Legislazione per l'Impresa) at Università Commerciale 'Luigi Bocconi' in Italy, where he graduated with flying colors. He also studied the Executive Master in Management of Healthcare Companies at Il Sole 24 ORE Business School and participated in the Wharton School's Executive Program.
