Fabio Mancinelli

Fabio Mancinelli is a Computer Science researcher and developer with a strong passion for creating and hacking useful solutions for people using computers.

He appreciates the artistic aspect of computer science, focusing on writing beautiful code, creating elegant architectures, and delivering stunning computational results.

Fabio holds a PhD and M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of L'Aquila, where he cultivated his expertise in programming languages, distributed systems, open source, software engineering, and Web technologies.

He currently serves as a System Development Engineer at Amazon, bringing his wealth of experience to help teams leverage the power of AWS.

Previously, Fabio held roles such as Infrastructure and Cloud Manager, Infrastructure Engineer, Cloud Lead, Research Project Manager, and XWiki Committer at XWiki.

His professional journey includes stints in research and development at INRIA Rocquencourt and Université Denis Diderot (Paris VII), along with undertaking a postdoctoral position in XWiki and his PhD studies at the University of L'Aquila.
