Fabio Gonçalves

Fabio Gonçalves is a specialist in remote sensing with a focus on forest inventory and monitoring. He has been involved in projects with NASA's Terrestrial Ecology and Carbon Monitoring programs since 2006, developing methods to estimate forest structure and dendrometric variables using 3-D remote sensing. During his career, Fabio has served as a research affiliate at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and as a visiting scholar at the Woods Hole Research Center. In 2016, he founded Canopy Remote Sensing Solutions, a company that integrates science and remote sensing technology to provide innovative forest quantification and qualification solutions.
