Fabio Fachin

Fabio Fachin is a bioengineering expert specializing in cGMP process development and life-cycle management, with a focus on CAR-T cell processes. He has a solid industry background in designing and optimizing clinical cell manufacturing processes. His expertise spans various fields, including biotechnology, aerospace, automation, and micro-/nano-technologies. Fabio's educational journey includes a Ph.D. Minor in Innovation Management from MIT Sloan School of Management, an M.Sc. in Space Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, and research fellowships at Harvard Medical School, among other qualifications. Within his professional career, Fabio has held key positions such as Head of Cell Therapy Engineering and Automation at Takeda, VP of Cell Therapy Manufacturing, and Senior roles in Cell Therapy Engineering at Torque, as well as significant roles at Novartis and Harvard Medical School. Previously, he has also worked in the aerospace industry and at leading technology companies like MEMSIC Inc. and STMicroelectronics.
