Andy Watkin-Child CSyP, CEng, MSyI, MIMechE is the founding partner of Parava, a boutique cyber security firm specializing in advising companies and government departments on cyber risk management. With over 25 years of multi-industry cyber experience, Andy has held various key positions such as Head of IT, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and Global Risk VP. He holds Royal Charters in security and engineering, is a member of the Security Institute and the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. Andy is among the elite few acknowledged as a Chartered Security Professional by the Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure.

Under Andy's leadership, Parava provides cyber security and cyber risk management solutions, assisting leadership teams across sectors like financial services, engineering, manufacturing, publishing, and media. They focus on protecting balance sheets of all sizes by addressing challenges like cyber attacks impacting the top and bottom line, costs of remediation, customer communication, revenue loss, brand damage, regulatory fines, and legal expenses. Andy and his team work to secure corporate value by supporting leadership teams in managing security risk effectively.

In addition to his role at Parava, Andy has an educational background in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the West of England.
