Greg May is an accomplished professional with over 20 years of experience in corporate consumer electronics. He has a robust background in new product creation, R&D, and product strategy, with an enduring passion for intellectual property generation. Greg's experience spans from electrical design, manufacturing, engineering, and marketing management to new business development. He is an inventor of 54 US granted patents and has analyzed countless competitive patents for Freedom-to-Operate patent clearance and for understanding how patent value is captured.

Greg holds an MBA from Oregon State University and a BSEE from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. He is the principal owner of Product Development & IP at Private Consulting. Previously, Greg was a Senior Director of Engineering, Technical Engineering Director, and Senior Portfolio Analyst at Intellectual Ventures. He also held several positions at Hewlett-Packard, including IP Business & Program Strategist, New Business Creation, and Worldwide Product Marketing Manager. To add, Greg managed diverse groups worldwide, established a culture of innovation, and contributed significantly to Hewlett-Packard's patent coordination and project management.
