Anna Hanchar

Anna Hanchar is a highly accomplished social science researcher and SenseMaker practitioner with years of experience in diverse fields. Anna has worked with various international organizations as a consultant, trainer, workshop facilitator, and researcher. She has a PhD in Strategic Management from Trinity College, University of Dublin, and extensive work experience in the academic and private sectors. She has explored advanced data analytics, natural language processing, machine learning, and innovative visualization techniques.

Anna's expertise in the SenseMaker approach comes from her collaboration with Cognitive Edge, Narrate, and The Data Atelier. Anna has worked on numerous projects, including citizen engagement, women's empowerment, minority inclusion, refugee integration, youth employment, healthcare delivery, and capacity strengthening. Anna invests in exploring context-sensitive, multi-level decision-making approaches that benefit organizations quickly.

Before co-founding The Data Atelier, Anna worked with KnowledgeBrief as Head of Research and formerly as Senior Researcher. She was a Researcher at Trinity College, University of Dublin, and a Lecturer/Tutor at the School of Business, Trinity Access Programme (TAP). Anna's interest in statistics led her to pursue a Postgraduate Diploma in Statistics from Trinity College, University of Dublin. Besides her academic and professional skills, Anna also learned Third Level Teaching and Learning (CAPSL) Certificate to enhance her teaching skills further.
