Andrew Trafford

Andrew Trafford is an accomplished lawyer and product counsel lead at Square with an impressive academic background. He holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Michigan Law School, a Master of Science (MSc) in Development Studies from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics, summa cum laude, from Wake Forest University.

Before his current position, Andrew was a product counsel for Cash App at Square, corporate counsel for the investor group at LendingClub, and an associate at law firms O'Melveny & Myers LLP and Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP. Furthermore, he served as a legal intern at the Ohio Attorney General's Office and a teacher at Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions.

With his extensive legal background and knowledge in development studies and economics, Andrew is an expert in product counsel and corporate law. As Product Counsel Lead, International at Square, he uses his skills to provide strategic advice to businesses and ensure compliance with legal regulations.
