Charles Melchers

Charles Melchers is the Director of Regulatory Trade Programs at the Canada Border Services Agency, bringing over 15 years of experience in various roles within the Agency.

Outside of his professional career, Charles is actively involved with the Rotary Club of Ottawa, where he has served as club President and Chairman of the Board. He dedicated 10 years to the Rotary Adventure in Citizenship program and led the program as Chair for 5 years.

He earned a Bachelor of Social Sciences with Joint Honours in Political Science and History from the University of Ottawa, focusing on political theory and the histories of North America, Europe, and the Middle East.

His educational background includes studies at Brockville Collegiate Institute, the Public Sector Leaders Program in Executive Leadership at Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Ottawa.
