Veena has published several reports on sustainability and corporate performance, including "Running the Risk: How Corporate Boards can Oversee ESG issues" (2019), "Systems Rule: How board governance can drive sustainability performance" (2018), and "Getting Climate Smart: A primer for corporate directors on climate change" (2018).

Veena holds an LLM in Intellectual Property Law and Environmental Law from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and a BA (Hons) LL.B in Law from National Law School of India University. Previously, Veena served as the Senior Program Director of Capital Market Systems at Ceres and has held roles at Management Consulting Division at CDM and the Integrative Strategies Forum.
