Rufran's education includes a Bachelor's degree in Management Engineering from the University of Batangas, a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Batangas State University, and further studies in Professional Management and Risk Management from the University of Calgary. He has also completed the Applied Project Management Program at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, and a Technician Program in Petroleum Refinery Maintenance from Batangas State University.
