Alistair Gosling is a successful entrepreneur, investor, and adventurer with over 25 years of experience in media, marketing, events, and large-scale sport and leisure destination development. He studied Business Administration and Management, General at Cambridge Education Group and went to Gordonstoun School. He built a world-leading TV distribution company and, in 1998, founded the EXTREME brand franchise and The Extreme Sports TV Channel in partnership with UPC and Liberty Media, raising $35m, and launching the brand in over 60 countries. Today, supported by Kleinwort Hambros and Soc Gen banks, Alistair is working alongside a brilliant team to develop EXTREME across media and marketing, events, destinations and resorts, and operating between London, Verbier, Riyadh, and Dubai. He is honored and privileged to be on the International advisory board of Qiddiya, the 334-square-km sports, entertainment and cultural destination being developed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. A passionate sailor, skier, pilot, dive master, and significant supporter of several global marine conservation projects, Alistair is an expert in brand and intellectual property management, place-making sports, leisure and entertainment destination development, content creation, production and distribution, development, activation and delivery of large-scale sports and lifestyle events, consumer brand sponsorship and licensing partnerships, investor, adviser, and helping other entrepreneurs. He speaks publicly about his successes and failures. Alistair also co-founded Ginx TV and acted as a founding advisor and shareholder at Medshr.
