Elizabeth Scallon is a renowned leader in the Pacific Northwest's startup industry, making an impact as a scientist, mentor, and innovator for over 15 years. She is known for connecting enterprises with promising startups, nurturing talent through coaching and mentoring, and assessing trends in the global innovation ecosystem. Elizabeth's passion for identifying disruptive and innovative technologies led her to her current role as the Go-To-Market & Operations leader for the Amazon Alexa Fund and Startups team, where she engages with founders, investors, and businesses in cultivating a robust voice technology innovation climate. She was also instrumental in launching WeWork's startup and incubation arm, WeWork Labs in US West and LATAM, and growing the NW tech and biotech startups team at CoMotion Labs at the University of Washington. Elizabeth's educational background is also impressive, with a degree in Biochemistry from Seattle University and several executive MBA degrees in innovation, entrepreneurship, and emerging markets from Georgetown University and ESADE Business School. She was also part of the 2019 cohort of the Young American Leaders Program (YALP) at Harvard Business School.
