Jonathan Mathieu, Ph.D., is a renowned Senior Consultant at Freedman HealthCare LLC. With expertise in multi-payer data access and use policies, he leads California's stakeholder engagement process to develop state health policy and price transparency goals. Dr. Mathieu has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a BS in Applied Mathematical Economics from SUNY Oswego. Before joining Freemont HealthCare, he was the VP for Research and Compliance and Chief Economist at the Center for Improving Value in Health Care (CIVHC). He has also been the Water Resource Economist at The Nature Conservancy and the Industry Economist at FDA. Dr. Mathieu was also a Visiting Assistant Professor of Public Policy at Georgetown Public Policy Institute, Georgetown University.
