Sophia Le is an accomplished crisis management expert, entrepreneur, and passionate communicator. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Political Science from the University of Washington and a Master's in Public Administration with a focus on Emergency Management and Homeland Security from the University of Colorado at Denver. With a curiosity for disasters that began when she was 14 years old, Sophia has sought to understand why disasters happen and how to prevent them. Over the years, she has gained a diverse range of experiences. She has conducted research on the impact of Hurricane Katrina on disabled people, built an email copywriting business for fast-growing companies while traveling Southeast Asia, and led emergency preparedness outreach and education for the fifth largest city in Washington. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Sophia has launched Brand Preppers, a crisis marketing training company whose goal is to teach marketers, crisis managers, and anyone tasked with crafting a disaster-preparedness plan the essentials of preparing for and managing a company crisis.
