Kirstie Parkinson is an accomplished educator and art aficionado with a diverse professional background that includes experience in special education, bookkeeping, and swimming instruction. Kirstie completed her education at prestigious institutions such as The University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a Master of Arts degree in Art Education: Museum Education, and Wheaton College (MA), from which she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History.

In addition to her formal education, Kirstie has worked in a variety of roles in the education industry, including as a Special Education Teacher at Los Alamos Public Schools, Instructor at Cook, Learn, Grow, and Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin. She has also served as an Education Intern at several museums, such as the Bullock Texas State History Museum, the Hudson Museum, and the University of Maine Museum of Art. Kirstie is dedicated to promoting STEM education and has worked as a STEM Stars Instructor at the Carnegie Science Center and as a Teacher at Girlstart.
