Kelly Smith is a seasoned professional with a diverse work background that has eventually led her to discover her passion for teaching. With a decade of experience in marketing, strategy, consulting, and product management, Kelly is the founder and CEO of Prenda, an education-focused company that aims to revolutionize the traditional education system. Kelly is an alumnus of the Mesa High School, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where she studied SM, Plasmas & Fusion, and Brigham Young University where she graduated with a degree in Physics. Before founding Prenda, Kelly served as the Founder of Code Clubs of Arizona, Director of Product at WattStopper, Director of Building Analytics at WegoWise, Inc., GridConnect Platform Manager, and Sustainability Programs Manager at Johnson Controls, and was even a proud tutor at Scholar's Station. Kelly's wide range of expertise nurtures a strong dedication towards helping young people learn and grow through innovative learning methods.
