Lorel E. Burns is an accomplished dental professional with a diverse academic background and years of experience in the field. She studied at Martin Luther King Jr. Academic Magnet High School for Health Sciences and Engineering, where she excelled in her studies. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from New York University - College of Dentistry. She later studied at New York University School of Medicine and Columbia University in the City of New York, where she became an expert in endodontics.
Lorel is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Endodontics at New York University - College of Dentistry. She has previously served as an Associate Endodontist at All County Endodontics, PC and Apex Endodontics, and as an Instructor in the Department of Endodontics at NYU - College of Dentistry. She has also completed an Endodontic residency at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and an internship in health policy at the American Dental Association's Health Policy Institute.
