James Newcomer
James Newcomer is a copywriter and freelance developmental editor with extensive experience in international politics, policy, public administration, and sustainable business. He holds degrees from Princeton, Columbia, and Stanford universities, among others, and speaks and reads Chinese. Newcomer has worked as an adjunct professor at Marylhurst University and has been an executive director and trade consultant. He has also been a founding member of Transition PDX, a non-profit design-build-finance service for community projects, and has partnered with multiple consulting firms, including ConfluencePoint Sustainability Consulting.
