Robert Bodzin is a highly experienced and skilled trial attorney with more than 25 years of experience in commercial litigation, complex catastrophic personal injury, and wrongful death cases in California and New York. He is a partner at Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP, where he handles commercial litigation, class action, unfair competition, and D&O shareholder litigation. Bodzin defends large corporations, small businesses, and individual professionals in complex catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, and emotional distress cases. He also manages a variety of commercial transactions and contract disputes, including those arising out of consumer and employment class actions, California Unfair Business Practices Claims under Business & Professions Code Section 17200 & 17500, the Consumer Legal Remedies Act, Proposition 65, and those which assert breaches of fiduciary duties by directors, officers, business partners, and LLC members.

In addition to his impressive legal practice, Bodzin is actively involved in professional associations and speaking engagements. He is the immediate past Chair of the Litigation Section of the State Bar of California and a frequent speaker on panels for best practices in litigation and trial. He is also the co-chair of these events. Bodzin was the past Publications Chair of the DRI Retail and Hospitality Committee and DRI Commercial Litigation Committee, Past DRI Publications Board Member and Author and Editor of numerous DRI Publications. He is a member of the Golden Gate Business Association and has been named in the 2012 - 2020 list of Northern California's "Super Lawyers", Business Litigation.

Bodzin studied BS in Political Science at the University at Albany, SUNY, and received his JD in Law at Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. He holds Admissions in California, New York, New Jersey, US Court of Appeals for the Ninth and Second Circuits, Multiple Federal District Courts in California and New York.
