Led the coordination and support of all US Navy centrally-managed global computer network defense capabilities. Monitored 47 worldwide, Linux-based intrusion detection system (IDS) sensors and virtualized central manager; troubleshot unresponsive sensors, incorrect data sets, and loss of key information. Received requirements and developed applications to create new capabilities and improve existing software. Researched and provided recommendations for future improvements.

Highlights:
- Created Python program to retrieve raw sensor throughput data and calculate average daily and hourly values, as well as hourly and 10-minute actual throughput values, and present it in to a web site in both a table format and downloadable CSV files.
- Revised nightly reporting program to send out HTML-email with tables to consolidate information while highlighting missing reports and dynamically removing unnecessary data.
