Kevin Parker

Kevin Parker is a seasoned public affairs professional with a diverse background in government, management, academia, innovation, and technology.

His educational achievements include a Master of Education (EdM) with a concentration in Learning Design, Innovation & Technology from Harvard University, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Leadership & Organizational Transformation from Boston University, and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a Political Science (BA) degree emphasizing Economics from the University of Illinois System.

Kevin has also completed programs at prestigious institutions like the Harvard Kennedy School, Cornell University's School of Industrial & Labor Relations, and Harvard Law School, expanding his expertise in strategic HR management, state & local government, and negotiation.

With a rich organizational history, Kevin has held notable positions such as Chief Reinvention Officer in North Dakota, Acting Chief Information Officer for the Department of Veterans' Affairs in Illinois, and Group Chief Information Officer for Education - Smart State in Illinois.

He has also served in roles like Strategic Advisor and Director of Government Innovation in Rhode Island, Digital Strategy Advisor in Alabama, Lecturer at Northeastern University, Engagement Manager in Boston, and Policy & Research Director in Boston City Council.

In addition, Kevin's experience includes Data & Performance Analysis in Las Vegas, Chief of Staff at the New York Film Academy, Constituent Services Specialist at the US Congress, Assistant to the Mayor in Peoria, Illinois, and Service Learning Coordinator with AmeriCorps, NCCC.

Currently, Kevin is focused on the American Rescue Plan and its implications for various levels of government, aiming to make a positive impact on state, local, tribal, and territorial entities. He is associated with the Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation as a Fellow & Research Faculty.
