Hossien El-Nashaar, a native of Alexandria, Egypt, and a versatile professional with a wealth of experience and expertise in Agriculture and Sustainable Solutions. He has an excellent track record working with various organizations at different levels within the United States government, national, and international institutions.

El-Nashaar graduated from the North Dakota State University with an M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees, after which he went ahead to launch his professional career in Agriculture. His passion for promoting diversity, equality, and sustainability led him to establish the AYZ iDiversity, Equality & Sustainability, where he is currently serving as its President.

As a Research Molecular Biologist at the USDA-ARS Corvallis, Oregon, El-Nashaar is in charge of implementing recent technologies that evaluate agriculture residues' suitability as biomass feedstock for bioenergy productions. He is also responsible for inventing the "Non-Densified Biomass Gasification Method and Apparatus," an innovation that has been widely adopted and recognized.

Throughout his career, El-Nashaar has consistently demonstrated excellent leadership skills, which have earned him positions such as a Technical Consultant/ Analyst at the United Nations (UN)- Food Agricultural Organization (FAO)/ World Bank (WB), a Scientist at the USDA-APHIS, and Director Seed Potato Certification at North Dakota State Seed Department.

El-Nashaar is passionate about sustainable solutions, and his interests span across diverse fields such as Commodity Risk Assessment Analysis, grasses, potatoes, small grains, soybean, sugarbeet, Biofuels, Biomass, and Gasification Technologies.
