Sung Kang is a highly experienced product-focused brand marketer with over 20 years of expertise in various Tier-1 companies including Indigo, General Mills, Novartis, Labatt, Vivo Cannabis, and Thrive Cannabis. His educational background entails an MBA in Marketing from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management and a BA in Philosophy from Wilfrid Laurier University. Sung is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Thrive Cannabis, where he and his team are working on creating Canada's best cannabis products and brands for the country's cannabis enthusiasts. His experience in different industries from retail to CPG, OTC Pharma to cannabis, has allowed him to develop versatile and adaptable marketing strategies.

Sung Kang graduated from the Rotman School of Management with an MBA in Marketing and Wilfrid Laurier University with a BA in Philosophy. He has worked as the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Thrive Cannabis, Chief Marketing Officer at VIVO Cannabis Inc, and Head of Marketing for Mike’s Beverage Company at Labatt Breweries of Canada. Sung also taught Marketing for Web Designers at Sheridan College and worked as a Marketing Professor. He has expertise in product-focused brand marketing and has contributed to creating several well-known brands in different industries such as Canna Farms, Fireside, Lumina, Beacon Medical, Palm Bay, Mike’s Hard Lemonade, Okanagan Cider, Buckley’s, NeoCitran, Otrivin, Pillsbury, Cheerios, Nature Valley, Fibre1, and Betty Crocker.
