Garrett Lord is a co-founder and CEO with a mission to democratize access to opportunity through Handshake, the premier career network and recruiting platform for early career talent. With a focus on leveling the playing field, Handshake helps over 18 million students and young alumni from 1,200 universities, community colleges, and bootcamps connect with over 550,000 employers, including all of the Fortune 500. Garrett studied Computer Science at Michigan Technological University and is a former High Performance Computing Fellowship at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Prior to Handshake, Garrett interned as a Forward Deployed Engineering at Palantir Technologies. Garrett is passionate about helping students and young alumni launch meaningful careers and creating meaningful relationships.
