Sean Gilfillan is a seasoned senior-level executive with over 18 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, and communications across the Government, Defense, Technology, and Media/Entertainment industries. His expertise lies in overseeing complex strategies that drive sales, marketing, media relations, government relations, and communications programs aimed at achieving business objectives/KPIs. Sean is also widely hailed as an expert in business growth, including Defense Sales and Government Contracting, and Relationship Management. He has a deep background in cultivating and motivating efficient, successful teams, having previously served as a Senior Army Officer and Diplomat.

Sean has studied Diplomacy at Norwich University, Brand Management at Cornell University, and Business Management at Norwich University, and has several certifications to his name, including the Defense Strategy Course (DSC) at The United States Army War College. He has held several leadership positions throughout his career, including his current role as the Leader - Government Systems (GS) Marketing at Viasat Inc. Sean's passion for giving back is rooted in his personal experiences, including the loss of seven colleagues in Iraq in 2003-2004.
