Hanae Bezad, PMP, is an impact tech entrepreneur with a passion for sustainability, inclusion, and international development. With 8 years of professional experience, she has developed a fluency across borders and sectors, including non-profit, high-growth tech startups, and digital strategy consulting in Paris.
She is the founder of Douar Tech, an inclusive tech hub that empowers vulnerable youth, especially women, with digital skills in rural and peri-urban areas. Hanae also helped define the strategy for Smart Africa, supporting member countries in creating favorable conditions for startups. Previously, she was the executive director of Le Wagon coding school in Morocco, bringing the innovative bootcamp to its first African market.
With a Bachelor of Science and Social Sciences from SciencesPo Paris, a Bachelor of Law from Panthéon Paris Sorbonne, a Master in Management from HEC Paris, and a Master in Public Administration from SciencesPo Paris, Hanae's areas of interest and expertise are at the intersection of technology, sustainability, inclusion, entrepreneurship and international development. Hanae has also participated in a dozen international conferences as a keynote speaker, panelist or moderator.
Hanae is a member of the Harambeans Alliance, a member of the Responsible Leadership Network of the BMW Foundation, and a member of the Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leaders, and resident of the House of Beautiful Business, and previously a member of the pan-African i4policy taskforce.
