Zek Chak

Zek Chak, a Lead Solutions Architect and certified AWS Solutions Architect Professional and SysOps Administrator Associate, has built a noteworthy career rooted in all facets of the application lifecycle including prototyping, front-end, back-end, and dev-ops. With experience as a senior full stack developer, he has built scalable web applications for startups and enterprises in varied industries, ranging from financial services to internet infrastructure. Having contributed to projects for Microsoft, Twitter, Braintree, VentureBeat, among others, Zek's skills encompass React, Ruby, and Elixir. Zek's technical skills and expertise are well-rounded, due in part to his role as the technical co-founder of an online ticketing startup, where he honed his skills and his curiosity to explore new technologies. His strong belief in Test-Driven Development ideology is earned through ensuring the reliability of applications in growth stages, as it allows teams to focus on new features and lowers the risk of unintended regressions, ensuring the development process runs smoothly. Outside of work, Zek enjoys spending time with his wife, Jasmine, and playing football.
