Allen Bush is a seasoned media relations director with a passion for creative communities, education, and social media. His 15-year tenure as Director of Media Relations at Berklee College of Music saw significant growth and the introduction of new campuses. Bush led a team of professionals in bringing abstract concepts such as concert festivals and new majors to life using media contacts at the national and international levels. Bush's expertise extends beyond media relations, with skills in publicity, team building, and management. His love for writing and storytelling led him to found an after-school essay writing program for kids in Boston's inner city, Inner-City Voices. He also created the video storytelling program, Fast Forward, with the Institute of Contemporary Art. Bush's passion for music and its heritage spurred him to initiate a program to support young musicians from Mississippi's small towns through a five-week summer program at Berklee College of Music. Allen Bush graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) focused on English/Professional Writing from Fitchburg State College.
