Marije Schilder is a highly educated professional with a diverse background in architecture, urbanism, building sciences, management, and entrepreneurship. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of Bath, followed by a Bachelor of Science and a Master's degree in Architecture, Urbanism, and Building Sciences from Technische Universiteit Delft. Marije also studied at the University of Melbourne, where she obtained her Master's degree in Property, and at Politecnico di Milano, where she specialized in leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship within the energy sector.

Marije has gained practical experience through various internships and roles in several organizations. As a Project Engineer for Area Development at Witteveen+Bos, Marije developed and managed projects related to infrastructure, water management, and spatial planning. As a Graduate Intern for the Amsterdam Institute for Advanced Metropolitan Solutions, Marije developed a roadmap for implementing circular economy principles in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. Before that, Marije worked as a Sales Representative for TOPdesk, where she identified new business opportunities and built relationships with clients. She has also worked as an Administrative Assistant at Interval Groep and Koggenland Administraties, and as an Intern at Ooijevaar - bevlogen bouwers!, where she was involved in design projects and site visits.
