Chanchal Sharma is a licensed clinical psychologist with an extensive background in clinical and educational psychology. She works as the Director of Mental Health Services at the Community Pediatric Programs of Montefiore Hospital, overseeing the behavioral health department and providing mental health care to underserved families and children with limited resources. Chanchal's team is comprised of clinical social workers, psychologists, a psychiatrist, and case managers, dedicated to providing high-quality behavioral health services to some of the most vulnerable populations in New York City. Chanchal obtained her doctorate degree (Psy.D) in Child/Adolescent Clinical Psychology and a master’s degree in Education in School Psychology (MS.Ed) from Pace University, as well as a master’s degree in applied (Clinical) Psychology (MA) from Teachers College at Columbia University. Additionally, Chanchal has diverse experiences in research, including leading an evidence-based video-feedback intervention program with mother-infant dyads.
