Ligia A. is a driven marketing and media professional with a strong background in content strategy, journalism, and public relations. She holds a Master's degree in Media Strategy and Leadership from Northwestern University and a graduation in Journalism from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho. With a 3.7 GPA, she has proven her commitment to academic excellence.

Ligia has worked with a variety of organizations in different roles throughout her career. She is currently the Global Marketing Coordinator for Brand Ekos at Natura, where she oversees global marketing initiatives. Prior to this role, she held positions as Digital Media Coordinator and Head of Marketing at Natura, Director of Marketing at Strike Social, and Content Strategy Fellow at Mother Jones.

Before transitioning into marketing, Ligia started her career as a journalist, reporting for publications such as O Estado de S. Paulo and Época Negócios Magazine at Editora Globo. She also worked as a reporter and assistant editor at ESTADÃO, a PR assistant at Lettera Comunicação Estratégica, and a freelance journalist at Jornal Bauruzão. She even got her start as an intern at Rádio Auri-Verde.
