Ida Iwata is a seasoned business operations and strategy professional with a background in the international automotive industry, specifically Toyota Motor Corporation. With over 13 years of experience in various roles from sales and marketing, to project management, and strategy, Iwata Ida is a well-rounded business leader. She has also worked in the Silicon Valley e-commerce startup and has extensive experience in autonomous driving startups.
Iwata's project management experience includes a successful negotiation of agreements on retail price, product selection, and launching agreements with Toyota do Brasil for the successful launch of Lexus brand in Brazil in June 2012. Iwata's strategy skills can be seen in the planning and implementation of launching campaigns for over 10 new cars during 2006-2014, where she commissioned market research and defined target customers for each model, and led product planning and pricing negotiations.
