Robyn Leslie is an accomplished human rights researcher and advocate with nine years of experience under her belt. She has held a senior position at the well-reputed Wits Justice Project in South Africa and has worked with international organizations such as Jesuit Refugee Service throughout Southern Africa. Leslie has experience in regional advocacy, African justice mechanisms, and African and SADC-focused networking and communication. Her expertise further extends to transitional justice issues in the global South, international human rights legislation, public interest and governance issues, refugee and migration issues, strategic planning and advocacy, and writing and editing. Leslie holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Politics and Environmental Science from the University of Cape Town and a Master's degree in International Conflict from King's College, London. She has also done consulting work for Corruption Watch, the Wits Justice Project, the International Organisation for Migration, the Foundation for Human Rights, the Secretariat for the African Decade for Persons with Disabilities, and research grants from the Canon Collins Trust.
