Christina Copeland, an environmental scientist and associate director at CDP, leads the Water Security program in the US, where she is responsible for working with companies, investors, funders, and policy makers to address shared water challenges. Copeland holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from Cornell University and is recognized for her passion for water and commitment to improving water stewardship. Copeland is a former Senior Manager, Manager of Disclosure Services, Sector Lead, Industrials & Materials, and Project Officer at CDP, a former E-Waste Warehouse Reuse Coordinator at Lower East Side Ecology Center, and a former Eco-Sustainability Associate at Tata Consultancy Services. Her environmental passion and career have been channeled towards water after experiencing first-hand the struggle that millions of people face when they do not have access to safe, potable water. Copeland was named to the GreenBiz 2016 “30 under 30” list and is a frequent public speaker on water security issues.
