Samuel IJsselmuiden is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in research, venture capital investment, and product development projects in the area of clean tech, material science, and additive manufacturing. Throughout his career, he has been driven by one question: how can technology make a positive impact? To answer that question, Samuel has undertaken many roles and projects, including co-founding the NGO Engineers Without Borders Netherlands, which executes over ten projects a year to improve well-being in developing regions.

With his broad range of skills and experience, Samuel is a leading expert in emerging technology acquisitions, especially in the materials industry. He has held key roles in companies such as SABIC, a multinational chemical manufacturer, where he was the lead scientist in Emerging Technology Acquisitions and also served as the Project Leader for Technology & Innovation. His work has also involved private equity and venture capital investment for Diverso Management, where he was the Technology Analyst.

Samuel's expertise extends to product development, where he has managed multi-million dollar projects in energy, mobility, and additive manufacturing. He is also an expert in design research and optimization of composite structures, reflected in his role as a Researcher at Delft University of Technology. Besides, he had an internship in Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and APCO Aviation.

Samuel IJsselmuiden is currently the Founder & CEO at swugo, a startup aimed to provide an easy-to-use and efficient tool for bike-sharing operators to optimize their fleets and revenue.
