With a Juris Doctorate in Law from Baylor University School of Law and a background in mediation, conflict management, and dispute resolution from Southern Methodist University, Kimmy is adept at resolving conflicts and helping individuals come to a resolution. She specializes in family law, including divorce, modification and enforcement of child custody, child support, adoption, name changes, estate planning, trusts, wills, powers of attorney, directives to physicians, and probate law. Kimmy is known for her prompt communication skills, and her ability to be a confident client advocate both in and out of the courtroom.

After working as a Family and Probate Attorney at Parker & Montgomery and then at Dana Palmer Law Group, P.L.L.C., Kimmy went on to found her own law firm, the Law Offices of Kimberly V. Wright. She later became the Managing Attorney at Dana Palmer Law Group, P.L.L.C. and eventually ended up as an Attorney at The Ashmore Law Firm, P.C. where she handles divorce, custody, adoption, and estate planning. Alongside her legal work, Kimmy is a dedicated member of her community with an interest in exploring innovative ways of resolving legal disputes.
