Itai Chitapi is a seasoned Principal of Diversity & Inclusion [D&I] at Korn Ferry. With over 20 years of experience in psychology, consulting, and leadership development, Chitapi specializes in building inclusive work cultures and reconciling differences within teams. Previously, he co-founded and managed RealTalk, an organization that facilitated genuine conversations in pursuit of racial reconciliation in South Africa. Before that, Chitapi served as the Chief of Staff for Econet Global Ltd, a multinational telecom business, where he effectively executed and communicated corporate strategies to diverse stakeholders. Chitapi began his career at Monitor Group and gained extensive consulting experience. He holds Master's degrees in Public Policy Analysis and Structural Biology from the University of Witwatersrand and the University of Cape Town respectively. Furthermore, Chitapi speaks fluent Shona, German, and English, has advanced skills in French and is a Scrabble enthusiast with a game score of over 500.
