Sarah Soffe is a highly experienced conservation professional with over 25 years of experience working in marine and coastal policy development and environmental impact assessments. She has worked with major industries, government departments, conservation agencies, and the general public throughout the UK. With a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Master's Degree in Marine Resource Management, Sarah has extensive knowledge of legislation, conventions, and directives applied to the marine environment, making her a valuable asset in the conservation sector.

She has delivered advisory services, conferences, seminars, and training to those audiences, and has a proven ability to deliver under pressure. Sarah's strengths include policy development, negotiation, consensus building, and good time management/organizational skills. Moreover, she has successfully delivered a £400K European funded program of projects in the Fens for waterways development and sustainable use.

Sarah's career highlights include her roles as Environment & Business Advisor, Future Regulation at the Environment Agency, and as former Environmental Project Manager at the Environment Agency. She was also a former Offshore Industry Adviser and Marine Protected Sites Implementation Officer at Joint Nature Conservation Committee, former Marine Conservation Officer (Renewables) Greater Wash at English Nature (Natural England), former Waterways Officer at Fens Tourism Partnership (Fenland District Council), and former Maritime Policy Officer at Countryside Council for Wales (now Natural Resources Wales).
