He has held various positions such as a system administrator, programmer, server hardware and energy efficiency specialist, growth hacker, investor, and advisor. Jon has experience working with numerous technologies such as mysql, mongodb, Arduino, Raspberry, Matlab, Hadoop, Apache Solr, Sphinx, Cassandra, and more, and is well-versed in high-availability hardware and technology.

Jon is a Lean Startup advocate and has been instrumental in creating new startups and researching new products for over 15 years. He has a strong focus on product strategy and growth, holding a patent in energy efficiency. He is always enthusiastic about fresh ideas that produce disruption rather than incremental improvements.
