Chris Myers is an accomplished professional with over 20 years of experience in finance and professional staffing and recruiting. He is the President and CEO of Professional Alternatives, an award-winning Houston-based staffing and recruiting agency. Chris graduated from Texas A&M University with a BBA in Management and later went on to earn an MBA in Strategic Management from Houston Baptist University.

Before founding Professional Alternatives in August 1998, Chris worked in the credit industry for over 7 years. His diverse background includes credit and collections management, call center management, sales management, and human resources. Chris is a member of NACM Southwest (National Association of Credit Management). He was selected as the 2003 Credit Executive of the Year and his company was awarded the Excellence in Credit Award. In 2008, Chris was elected to serve as a Southern Region Director for the National Board of NACM, and later as NACM's National Chairman in 2014.

Chris is also recognized as one of the top “40 Under 40” Professionals in 2012 by the Houston Business Journal. His company has been recognized in 2004, 2011 and 2013 as one of the fastest-growing companies in Houston. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for NACM Southwest and the Houston Area Association of Personnel Consultants.

As an active writer and thought leader on topics with human resources, employee development and hiring trends, Chris has been published in Fast Company, Houston Business Journal, Glassdoor Blog, Business Insider, Credit Today, Nasdaq.com and more. In his free time, Chris enjoys staying active and running marathons, ultramarathons, and is a 6x Ironman Triathlon finisher.
